How I went from A1 Spanish to B1 in 2 Months! FOR FREE
If you're a complete beginner like me and have the time to learn a new hobby or skill, look no further for I will share how I learned Spanish fast within 2 months.
Spanish is my 4th Language so please hear me out.
Let's get started!
How many times have you promised yourself that you want to pick up Spanish? Only once? Two times? A million times over? Of course, wanting to learn a language is easy.
The challenging part is getting started. Fortunately, I will share in this blog the best way to learn Spanish on your own.
These five effective steps will help you achieve the goals of the Spanish language quite more quickly than sitting and wondering where to begin.
1. Read Spanish
Reading Spanish will definitely help you jumpstart your learning, but what books?
Easy, you should DEFINITELY read EASY Spanish Books. What are these books?
• Lengua Española Comprensión by Svetoslava Staycova
• First Language Book by Worman's Modern Languages
• New Spanish Book by Lawrence A. Wilkins
Now you might be thinking, "Ken, these books costs a lot" don't worry because I got that covered. I downloaded it all from free online libraries.*wink*
2. Watch Youtube Videos
Watching Spanish Videos is great but you know what's better? Learning Spanish from Spanish Teachers who TEACHES YOU in Spanish! CRAZY but hear me out. IMMERSION is the key. You learned your Mother Tounge because you are immersed in it so immerse yourself in your target language! Here are Youtube Channels I strongly recommend;
• Dreaming Spanish
- This channel will definitely help you in your language journey. I swear, they have a playlist for each level. Starting from;

INTERMEDIATE
Give yourself a chance to visit their page right now!
• Señor Jordan
- This channel is great. The lessons are literally being spoonfed to you and you just need to open your mouth. The lessons are ranged from Beginner and will guide you to every step.
• Butterfly Spanish
- This channel is great for people who enjoys classroom setting and getting the in-depth of learning the language. If you enjoy detail oriented lessons then check this channel out.
3. Listen to Music and Podcasts
Study while you're having fun! Listening to music is a great method to learn Spanish but ONLY if you're studying it. Print out the lyrics, study every passage, sing your heart out, and do your best! *whisper* choose a song that you actually enjoy *wink*
4. Anki
- If you don't know what Anki is, it's basically an App where you can download flashcards. It optimizes memory and recall. So download Anki (it's available both desktop and phone) because it's free. If you're confused on how to use it fret not for I will teach you in another blog.
5. Think and Talk in Spanish
- What do I mean with this? Well basically, if you want to express your emotions then think what would it be in Spanish then SAY IT. It helped me a lot and made me feel that I'm actually a local. For example
• Wow, the sun is scorching. It's*muy caliente*
• I wasn't able to study last night, fighting the urge to sleep is so *difícil*.
• It's so *frío* during winter, like *muy frío*
That's all and I hope you got an idea of what I'm trying to imply, hasta luego!
;)
